Provisional Patent Applications

We offer two types of billing methods- one is hourly and the other is a flat-fee cost structure. What follows is the flat-fee option.

The quote will also provide various payment options including online payment instructions. Generally, unpredictable cases do not qualify for our flat-rate and are billed hourly. Generally, for hourly billing, you can deduct the time we spend preparing your provisional application from the time estimate given to draft the corresponding Utility application. Our flat-fees cover our legal fees for PPA preparation. USPTO fees and formal drawing preparation are not included. NOTE: All online payments include a 3% convenience fee to defray the cost of online payment processing.
